I agree that "Civil War" is better than either of the Avengers films.Mike Hoodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09079744279692869325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8456620400015224634.post-45553764841816541462017-02-27T18:41:50.705+01:002017-02-27T18:41:50.705+01:00Hiddleston is invariably brilliant. I really liked Captain America, Black Widow, Nick Fury and of course Iron Man a great deal too. Age of Ultron is not a good film sadly.. Civil War is perhaps the best Avengers film so far, even if it is not a direct sequel.Martyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09372675604861223439noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8456620400015224634.post-4798212179437118812017-02-22T06:16:06.600+01:002017-02-22T06:16:06.600+01:00The marketing strategy of a slow build up to the a...The marketing strategy of a slow build up to the appearance of the Avengers super-group was brilliant. "The Avengers" would have been successful anyway, but the marketing gave it an additional kick. I agree that Tom Hiddleston was another big factor in the success. The best villains are the ones who are somehow likeable.

I found the final fight worked very well. It's difficult to portray a battle against an army on screen, but Joss Whedon pulled it off.
Mike Hoodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09079744279692869325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8456620400015224634.post-63835470862755462017-02-09T00:44:33.812+01:002017-02-09T00:44:33.812+01:00I like much of this... The battles at the end got kind of generic too.Martyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09372675604861223439noreply@blogger.com
