Bewitched Housewives (4 Stars)
This is the 14th film in the Medina Collection, made in 2006. After playing small parts in his previous films, this is the first film in which Ted Newsom plays a major role. He rises to the challenge admirably in his portrayal of a religious zealot.
In 1692 Beverly Lynne is in prison awaiting execution. She's been accused of witchcraft, but all she did was perform sexual acts with vegetables at a bachelor party. There was no justice for women in the 17th Century. She appeals to Brother Ted Newsom as a holy man, but he shows no mercy.
On the last night before execution Beverly is visited by Nicole Sheridan, a powerful witch. Nicole helps Beverly escape by sending her into the 21st Century. She has a big house and a successful husband, Brad Bartram. That's everything a woman could possibly want. But she isn't safe for long. Brother Ted follows her into the future to take vengeance.
Brad's work colleague and best friend is Alexandre Boisvert. Just when I thought his hair couldn't possibly get any worse he ends up looking like this? He should take advice from his fellow actor Evan Stone. Evan's hair is always perfectly groomed.
Just look at Evan's face when he sees Alexandre's hair. He's lost for words. Nicole is wondering if she knows any spells to fix his hair.
