A good woman is hard to find (4 Stars)
This is the 13th film in the Stuttgart Fantasy Film Festival.
Sarah Collins is a good woman who lives in Belfast. After the murder of her husband she brings up her two small children as best as she can. Her six-year-old son witnessed the murder, and he's now so badly traumatised that he can't speak.
Tito is a young man who wants to make some money fast. He steals drugs – cocaine? – from two drug dealers, and he takes refuge in the nearest house. Sarah's house. He offers to give her a 20% cut of the sales if she lets him hide the drugs in her house. At first she refuses, but she needs the money. He can come to her house whenever he wants to and even sleep on the sofa, as long as he doesn't harm her children.
This is a very exciting film that doesn't fit into any one genre. The characters are all credible, and the action is breath-taking. It's a film that I'll want to see again. I hope that it receives the success that it deserves.
