This is the third film in the Stuttgart Fantasy Film Festival.
"Nightman" is a slow-moving psychological drama. Damian and Alex are a young
married couple. They move into the remote house of Damian's mother who's
recently gone into an old people's home. He needs solitude to finish writing
his university thesis.
Soon after moving, Alex discovers that her husband is sleep-walking, although
he denies it. At the same time people are being murdered, and Alex suspects
her husband is the killer. Is it possible to sleep-murder? Damian also has
secrets that he's hiding from his wife.
It's a creepy film, set in beautiful Irish countryside. The atmosphere is
better than the story itself.
