Rating: 4½ Stars
The first two tracks are a single piece of music. All the other tracks are distinct pieces of music, but tracks 3 and 4 are mixed together.
The album was originally released on Pete Namlook's private label as a limited edition of 3000 copies. In 2016 it was re-released as part of a box set, which is now also out of print.
This is an excellent album. The sequencer driven melodies on tracks 1, 2 and 4 are brilliant. The distorted synthesizer sounds on these tracks annoyed me as they started, but as they continued I grew to like them. I presume the heavy beats on all three tracks were created by Pete Namlook.
According to the description on Pete Namlook's web site:
"Pushing the limits, Klaus and Peter combined 70's Space Music with new old school Electro sounds. Part 3 features Bill Laswell, whose ethno-oriented sounds add perfectly to this space music opus. Listening to this music is like watching a film; just close your eyes and find out for yourself. We take you on a journey through the universe of sounds to our musical world".
