This is a very untypical film for Jean Rollin, a departure from his usual style that doesn't quite succeed. It's not just that there are no vampires or other supernatural creatures in this film. Instead of his usual beautiful landscapes he uses an ugly city as his background, starting symbolically with a junkyard and ending with a shootout in an industrial dockyard.
The plot is about a serial killer, a beautiful woman who places a miniature car on the body of her victims. The mystery is her motive for her seemingly random murders, which is solved near the end. I'm a big fan of Jean Rollin, but this is definitely his weakest film, and I can't recommend it.
