R.I.P. Christopher Lee

Last Sunday a great screen legend passed away. Christopher Lee was a giant among men, not just in his towering height of 6'5", but also in his formidable acting talent. To modern audiences he's best known as Saruman in "Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit". Fans of classic horror films will remember him most as Count Dracula in the Hammer Horror films from 1958 to 1973. In almost all of his films he played the bad guy. He was the man we loved to hate. In popularity he outshone the heroes who fought against him.

It's claimed that a picture says more than a thousand words. Here is a small gallery of photos for my readers to admire or copy for their own collections. You can click on them for slightly larger versions. They're all screenshots from the 1974 James Bond film "The Man with the Golden Gun", in which he played Francisco Scaramanga. A bad guy. Of course.

The following three photos are part of a sequence that I should make into an animated GIF. If I can figure out how to do it.....

Christopher Lee is mad...

madder...

maddest!

What a man! He will never be forgotten. I'm meeting up with some friends tomorrow, and we'll raise a glass in his memory.
