The Disappearance of Alice Creed (5 Stars)
This is a film about the perfect crime. Two men kidnap a millionaire's daughter and hold her to ransom for two million pounds. At least, it would be the perfect crime if it weren't for male stupidity. It's the battle of the century. On one side we have two men with guns. On the other side we have a young woman tied to the bed. The men don't stand a chance.
Danny unties Alice so he can have sex with her. He's too excited to resist when she climbs on top of him. Doesn't he know what will happen?
That's right. He's naked and handcuffed to the bed with a gun pointing at him. You must be thinking, "Surely all men aren't that stupid". Maybe not, but I know that if I were in Danny's position I would be just as helpless to resist.
The film begins with two men with guns, while Alice is tied to the bed. It ends with two men lying dead while Alice walks away. Once again good triumphs over evil.
