Question for my readers

Out of curiosity, how many films have you watched twice in a row? What I mean is, you watched a film, and as soon as it ended you started it again from the beginning with no more than a pee pee break in between? I'll start the ball rolling. I've only done this twice in my life.

- "Downfall" (original title "Der Untergang")
- "Inland Empire"

  2. Thanks, Michelle. I thought my question was being ignored. Either that, or no one apart from me is silly enough to watch a film twice in a row.

I haven't seen any of your films. They're definitely worth checking out. On an aside note, Kenneth Branagh was asked if it was a coincidence that the cover of the Wallander DVD box makes him look similar to Daniel Craig in the last two Bond films. He said he's always wanted to play Bond, but he was never asked.

I should add to my original post that the reason I watched "Inland Empire" twice was because I didn't understand it the first time. So I watched it a second time. And still didn't understand it. The film lasts three hours, so I'd sat in front of it for six hours in total. After that I needed a break, so I popped one of the "Schoolgirl Report" films into my DVD player. That was easy to understand. It was about schoolgirls having sex.

  3. I watched Avatar twice in a row. While the storyline may be well-worn, I was enthralled by the graphics; a movie has to take me up and carry me along and I forget that I am watching a movie instead of being actually there. I felt that in Downfall, it was subtitled in English, but after a while I forgot and got totally sucked in.

  4. I still haven't seen "Avatar". All the media hype put me off it. I'm sure I'll watch it eventually, but I'm in no hurry.
