Title: And a Hydra New Year!

The Black Widow arrives at La Guardia Airport, in full costume. Daredevil goes
to pick her up, also in full costume. Wouldn't it have been more discreet to
wear their civilian clothing? As it turns out, they made the right choice this
time. A terrorist gang wants to hijack the flight, so they're already dressed for
combat.
While jumping across rooftops towards Matt's apartment, the Black Widow tells
him she doesn't want to be his sidekick. He distracts her by inviting her to a
New Year's Eve party. What he doesn't tell Natasha is that the party is being
thrown by Foggy Nelson. She still bares a grudge against him because he was
the prosecutor when she was on trial for murder in
Daredevil #83.
The party is interrupted by an attack by Hydra. They want to kidnap Foggy
Nelson. They're being assisted by a costumed super villain called El Jaguar.
Natasha is knocked out before she can change into her costume. Matt changes
into his Daredevil and defeats the Hydra agents by himself. El Jaguar flees,
and Daredevil wants to chase hi, but Nick Fury arries with SHIELD agents and
tells Daredevil to let him go.
Nick says that he wants Foggy to join SHIELD.
In this issue, Tony Isabella writes a brief history of Hydra. This is the
first part of a two-part essay that will continue in next month's issue. The
first part is mostly new, invented by Tony Isabella. The second part is mostly
a summary of Hydra's appearances in Marvel comics.
