This is the fifth film in the Stuttgart Fantasy Film Festival.
After
the previous dreadful film, I was hoping for something better. Fortunately, I wasn't disappointed. "Let
the wrong one in" is a brilliant Irish horror comedy. People in the theatre
were laughing out loud.
A couple in Dublin are getting married. The bride has her hen party
(bachelorette party) in Transylvania. While they're running through the
streets waving their plastic penises in the air, they're attacked by a
vampire. The bride and her friends return to Dublin and start turning people
into vampires.
Matt and Deco are brothers. Deco becomes a vampire after flirting with one of
the girls. A local vampire hunter, played by Anthony Head, wants to kill Deco,
but Matt protects him. He loves his brother.
I can't recommend this film highly enough.
