This is the second film I've watched with my grandson Oliver in an attempt to
help him learn English. It should have been his third film, but he made
excuses last week. I intend to make it a regular fixture, a film in English
every Sunday. I've picked the MCU films, all the way from Iron Man to the
multiverse, but I'll allow him to pick anything he wants to watch, as long as
it's in English. I'll let you know how I get on. Keep reading my blog.
The film started off badly. In the opening scenes at the Stark Expo people
were arguing and talking over one another. I kept looking sideways at Oliver,
hoping he wasn't getting disillusioned. But as it continued into the action
scenes he was obviously enjoying it. This was a perfect film to encourage
a 10-year-old child to learn English.
