I saw this one in the theatres when it came out. At the time I was drawn largely by Shyamalan, having been very impressed by Sixth Sense and its pacing and story. I was less impressed by Unbreakable. My friend, with whom I saw the film, very much liked it, and the whole supervillain versus superhero imagery. The acting in this film is excellent, both from Jackson and from Willis. However, I would have to watch it again to see if the comic book overtones work for me more the second time around.
I also saw "Unbreakable" in the cinema. My only criticism is that it moves too slowly. I know that it's all about suspense, but somehow it's overdone. It could have been hurried along a bit.
