I enjoyed this film despite not liking Seth Rogen. Something about his loud-mouthed crude humour is highly distasteful to me. For me the film is carried by the performance of James Franco and the actor who plays Kim Jong-Un, Randall Park.
I'm a bit confused by this disclaimer shown at the end of the film. It says that all the characters and locations in the film are fictitious, and any similarity to any locations or persons is unintentional. That's strange. I thought that there really was a fat little dictator called Kim Jong-Un in North Korea.

Well that disclaimer was not enough to prevent this being axed from the cinemas..

The confusing claimer tracks back to a 1930s lawsuit that MGM studios lost. One of the survivors upon whom a character in Rasputin And The Empress was based took offence and the studio eventually was forced to settle out of court for over a million dollars. Ever since then, even movies about real people carry that disclaimer so they can say in court that it's a fictionalized version and that the public was informed as such.
