This is the second film in the Stuttgart White Nights Festival.
In the near future a virus has spread that has turned most of the human race into flesh-eating monsters. Effectively they're zombies, they just don't look like zombies.
Juliette lives with a small human community, but she has gone out alone to search for food. While returning she has a car accident and suffers a severe leg injury. Out in the desert alone she has to fight off one of the creatures.
The film is beautifully shot, but it's spoilt by a bad ending that made me groan. You'll have to watch it for yourself to see what I mean.
