What should you do if you don't exist? That's a question Simon James asks
himself in this film. He thinks he exists. He thinks people notice him. Then
he realises he's not there. He's just a ghost floating around the world.
Simon writes a suicide note, but will anyone ever read it? Probably not.
Simon is love with his beautiful work colleague Hannah, but he can't speak to
her. He watches her in her apartment with a telescope. Creepy. He collects the
pieces of her paintings that she throws in the trash. Even creepier.
If you don't exist, the best you can do is to stand aside and look upon
yourself. See yourself as you want to be. Instead of trying to be perfect and
failing, accept an imperfect version of yourself.
Or just kill yourself. That's easier.
