Day of the Warrior (4½ Stars)

This is the second film in my Julie K. Smith marathon, and the 11th film made by Andy Sidaris. Andy's last three films form a neat little trilogy, so "Day of the Warrior" follows on directly from "The Dallas Connection". All the agents who survived the last film return to fight again. All the agents who didn't survive return anyway, since the same actors come back to play different roles. For instance, Julie Strain played Black Widow in the last film, in this film she plays Willow Black. Rodrigo Obregon played Dr. Antonio Morales in the last film, in this film he plays the crook called Manuel. At least Julie K. Smith's character Cobra wasn't killed in the last film, so she can return to play the same character.

An ex-CIA agent with the codename The Warrior is running a smuggling ring for diamonds, rare artefacts and pornography. The top secret spy agency L.E.T.H.A.L. (Legion to Ensure Total Harmony and Law) has planted four undercover agents in his organisation. Unfortunately there is a double agent in L.E.T.H.A.L. who has informed The Warrior about the spies. L.E.T.H.A.L.'s boss, Willow Black, and a desk operative called Tiger (Shae Marks) have to go into action to rescue the undercover agents and break up The Warrior's smuggling ring.

Once more Julie K. Smith didn't make it onto the film poster or DVD cover. Wasn't she attractive enough? Look at this picture and make up your own mind. I won't say anything, I'm biased.
