This is the first film in the Stuttgart White Nights Festival.
Two policemen are on the hunt for a serial killer. Rather than working together, they're working against one another, because they've been told that the detective who solves the case will be promoted.
One of the policemen uses unethical means to solve the case. For instance, a woman gives him a tip off about the identity of the serial killer, but in return he has to cover up a murder that he's seen her commit, including hiding the body.
The film has various subplots, but in my opinion too many subplots. It's difficult to follow what's happening, especially in the first half hour of the film. The plot is too confusing.
