This is the 14th film in the Stuttgart Fantasy Film Festival.
The film opens with the first nude scene in this year's festival. A couple are
making love on the beach. They're interrupted by a giant crab which seems to
be watching them. They take a photo of the crab, but then it jumps on them and
kills them.
The seaside town is terrorised by crabs that steadily become larger, finally
becoming so big that they can crush houses. Does the film make sense? Not
really. But who cares? It's great fun, especially because high school students
are the ones fighting to save their town.
