This is the 11th film in the Stuttgart Fantasy Film Festival.
Every year the Fantasy Film Festival has a film starring Nicolas Cage. He
belongs to the festival, and it wouldn't be the same without him. His film
isn't necessarily the best, but he makes films that stand out by being
unusual.
Until 15 years ago Robin Feld (Nicolas Cage) was a highly respected master
chef in Portland, Oregon. When his wife Lori died he moved into a cabin in the
woods and became a recluse. His only companion is a pig who finds truffles. He
sells the truffles to Amir, a young man who sells them on to luxury
restaurants. It isn't just about business. Robin loves his pig. She's a
replacement for his dead wife.
Unknown assailants attack Robin at night and steal his pig. With Amir's help
he hunts for his pig. He has to get her back.
Only Nicolas Cage could make a film like this. It's a film that has to be
seen to be believed.
