Bear wants to go on holiday.
He packs everything he needs, including dozens of books. Probably Russian
classics, but aren't they too heavy? He should buy himself a Kindle.
Horror! He hears someone coming to his door.
It's not just anyone, it's Masha. Bear hides in a cupboard while she looks for
him.
When she sees the suitcase she guesses what's going on. She's a clever little
Russian girl.
When it's finally quiet, Bear heads to the station. That's risky, because it's
where Masha lives.
But he manages to sneak onto the train without being spotted. Just look how
smart it is! A carpet on the floor and smart curtains. I never knew Russian
trains looked so good.
His compartment is a bit cramped, but it was built for humans, not bears.
He unpacks, and oh no! It's Masha!
How can Bear possibly go on holiday without her?
Bear has to hold the train while she goes back to the house to fetch her
luggage.
Now the compartment really is cramped! I never knew Masha had so many toys.
Masha's animals play a rousing farewell melody.
Masha and the Bear wave to their friends.
But what's wrong?
Bear must have tugged the carriage too hard. It's broken away from the rest of
the train.
The only one who's happy is Masha. She's glad to be back home.
"Wasn't that a wonderful trip?"
