This is the 45th solo album recorded by Klaus Schulze. It was originally
released as the fourth album of the "Contemporary Works 2" box set. The six
tracks run into one another as a single long track, The first two tracks are
standalone pieces of music, but I see no reason for the division of the other
four tracks. The last four tracks are obviously a single piece of music.
"In the Dimness of Light" is a highlight of the CD. It's led by an
electronically distorted cello. In "Back to the Future" Klaus Schulze plays a
slide guitar, which is very unusual for him. The remaining track/tracks has a
driving beat throughout.
The bonus track is taken from the 10th CD of "Contemporary Works 1" (2000).
It's good in itself, but it's ruined by poor mastering. It cuts off in mid note.
