This is a promotional CD that has never been on sale. 300 copies were given
away free at the Alesis booth at the 2003 Frankfurter Musikmesse (Frankfurt
Music Trade Fair).
Klaus was a guest at the Alesis booth, and most of the CDs were signed by him.
The CD contains music played by Klaus with the new Alesis
analogue synthesizer, the A6 Andromeda. The production of this synthesizer was
discontinued in 2010. Evidently there's no market for analogue instruments,
which is a shame, because the analogue technology draws the best out of Klaus.
The three tracks are mixed together as a single track. Listening to them,
they're intended to be a single piece of music. The track boundaries show
changes in mood.
I don't have a copy of this CD. I'm not willing to pay the ridiculous prices
on Ebay (more than 500 Euros), so I have to be satisfied with pirated MP3s. A
remixed version of the three tracks was included as a bonus track on the 2016
rerelease of the album
"Dreams". Usually I'm a purist and prefer original versions, but in this case I
think differently. The remix is superior, because it omits the annoying vocals
on the third track.
